Chattanooga, TN — The Chattanooga State Foundation recently received a gift of $500 from Thompson Engineering to fund scholarships for students enrolled in Engineering Technology programs. Thompson Engineering is an advocate of engineering education, and regularly supports efforts to increase opportunities for students interested in learning more about the services the firm provides. The Thompson Foundation strengthens that mission with its scholarship program and commitment to engineering education.

Mack McCarley, director of Tennessee Operations for Thompson Engineering, presented the gift. According to McCarely, “We are proud to support Chattanooga State and are committed to serve on the Engineering Technology Division’s advisory committees.”

Thompson Engineering, with six offices in six states, serves the Southeast with its expertise as planners, designers and constructors. Established in 1953, Thompson Engineering has earned a reputation of engineering excellence with leadership in projects that define skylines, coastlines, and transportation lines.
