Lectrus holds Job Fair at Chattanooga State

Chattanooga State Community College will host a job fair for Lectrus on at the College’s main campus on Amnicola Highway. The event is set for Friday, December 9, from
9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Lectrus is the leading manufacturer of equipment centers and custom enclosures around the world.

Members of the management and human resource staff at Lectrus will be on hand to take applications, resumes, and conduct interviews during the job fair. Some of the available positions Lectrus seeks to fill include: structural designer, electrical design engineer, CAD operator, electrician, electrical helper, industrial painter, enclosure welder, enclosure builder, and machine operator. The company has employed numerous graduates of Chattanooga State in the past.

Lectrus has been one of Chattanooga State’s training partners for many years. The Center for Continuing Education and Economic Development has provided National Electrical Code and leadership workshops the company, and the Business and Information Technology Division supported the company with its on going supervisor development class. The Engineering Technology Division is a resource for technical training, including an upcoming AutoCAD class.
