Chattanooga, TN — The Business and Information Technologies Division at Chattanooga State welcomes TVA Inspector General Richard Moore, as the guest speaker for its Business Speaker Series on February 13, beginning at 3:00 p.m. in the Berry Auditorium of the Health Science Center. Mr. Moore will discuss new business trends that include how the future of employment is shifting from long-term, full-time employees, to independent contractors, free agents, and freelancers. This event is free and open to the public.
TVA Inspector General Richard Moore was the first to be Presidentially appointed to his position on May 9, 2003. From 1985 until his confirmation as Inspector General, Mr. Moore served as Assistant United States Attorney for the Southern District of Alabama. During that time, he prosecuted criminal cases involving white-collar crimes, official corruption, and general federal crimes. He also served as Coordinator of the Anti-Terrorism Task Force in the Southern District, as Senior Litigation Counsel, and as Chief of the Criminal Division in the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
